Google獨霸美國搜尋市場，占有率超越Yahoo!三倍之多

根據Hitwise的數據顯示，Google在美國搜尋市場的根基已越發穩固。今年十月份的市場占有率為64.49％，到了11月已來到65.10％。當然，提到搜尋引擎總少不了Yahoo!，但其市占率只有21.21％；而微軟公司，則只能在美國搜尋市場瓜分7.09％。
這項數據除充分顯示美國人對於Google的偏好，趨勢觀察家也指出Google市占率再創新高的原因，極可能是拜11月份假日購物搜尋大增所賜，進而湧入新一輪的用戶。
